Ermogen is used for active immunisation of healthy Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) to reduce mortality and clinical signs of Enteric Redmouth Disease, caused by Yersinia ruckeri serotype 1.

Uses
Ermogen is used for active immunisation of healthy Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) to reduce mortality and clinical signs of Enteric Redmouth Disease, caused by Yersinia ruckeri serotype 1.Onset of immunity occurs within 250 degree days following immersion vaccination.

Dosage and administration
A minimum water temperature of 2°C for vaccination is recommended.For immersion vaccination, the bacterin is to be shaken well before diluting 1:10 with holding facility water in a suitable container (e.g. one litre of bacterin diluted with 9 litres of water).
The fish are to be immersed in the bath solution for 30 seconds at a density of 500 grams of fish per litre of solution (5kg of fish per 10 litre bath).
The preparation may be re-used a total of 20 times, or until 100kg of fish have been vaccinated.
It is recommended that fish to be vaccinated are at least 2g in size and that vaccination should precede exposure to the disease agent by at least 250 degree days (mean water temperature in °C multiplied by the number of holding days).
